1. KIA Repository is an archive of fanfiction, written for private, non-profit use.
2. Registered users of KIA Repository must be at least 18 years old. If you are between 16 and 18, please get permission from your parent/guardian to use the site.
3. All characters in stories submitted to KIA Repository who are depicted in a sexual context must be at least sixteen (16) years old. Reference to physical or sexual abuse of children under the age of sixteen (16) may be included within the story only as required for background information. No graphic details may be included.
4. Stories based on the following Authors' works are not allowed on the archive due to their express wishes that fanfiction based on their work is not to be published on the internet: P.N. Elrod, Raymond Feist, Terry Goodkind, Laurell K. Hamilton, Robin Hobb, Dennis L. McKiernan, Robin McKinley, Irene Radford, Anne Rice, Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb, Archie comics, Terry Brooks.
5. KIA Repository makes no guarantee or warranty that the information, stories or services provided will meet any of the users' requirements or expectations.
6. By using KIA Repository the user agrees that the webmistress, administrators and moderators will not be held responsible or liable for any damages resulting from the information, stories and services we provide.
7. All content that is hosted with KIA Repository belongs to the author, who holds sole responsbility for their content.
8. Stories are copyrighted by the author; therefore, KIA Repository claims no ownership or responsbility for them.
9. Any links provided by KIA Repository are a service. We are not responsible for content of the other websites. We are not responsible for links added by authors.
10. Flames, abusive, obscene or harassing language in reviews, responses, author's notes, emails or any other communication that may be associated with KIA Repository are not permitted.
11. KIA Repository reserves the right to refuse service to any person.
12. All authors, users and administrators acknowledge that KIA Repository is used at their own personal risk.
13. By submitting any story, reviewing or reading, the user agrees to the Terms of Service.
14. The following actions will not be tolerated at KIA Repository:
    • Uploading or posting any 'spam' or 'junk mail.'
    • Any form of plagiarism.
    • Impersonating another person, especially a KIA Repository administrator or moderator.
    • Harassing, abusing or flaming authors, users, moderators or administrators. Flaming is defined as an attack on another person. Criticism is not flaming.
    • Hacking the website, use of scripts (malicious or otherwise), using the administrator panel if not authorised to do so, using an account not your own, using an account for any purpose not related to reading and hosting of stories, etc.

Any violation of KIA Repository Terms of use may result in, but not be limited to: removal of stories from all archives, loss of membership, and/or being banned from the site.
